GRADUATE STUDENT ASSISTANT
The Department of Campus Recreation at St. Ambrose University is now accepting formal applications for the position of Graduate Assistant for the spring 2014 semester. I have attached the position description, in which contains information regarding job duties, necessary qualifications, compensation package, and how to apply. The Department of Campus Recreation is a dynamic and ever-evolving entity on campus. Our main programmatic areas that drive our everyday operations, and intentions to fulfill our mission, as well as capture the SAU mission, are: Intramural Sports, Fitness/Wellness Services (including Group Exercise classes and Wellness initiatives), Club Sports, Special Events/Marketing, and Student Development. In addition, we manage six "cardio pods" that are housed in select residence halls on campus. These pods contain just under 30 total pieces of cardio equipment available to the SAU community. We employ over 40 undergraduate student employees and are committed to student engagement/involvement and overall development to a student's growth and college experience while at SAU.
