GRADUATE GENERAL SERVICES ASSISTANT POSITION OPENINGS FOR FALL 2015/SPRING 2016

We are now accepting formal applications for Graduate General Service Assistants for the Fall 2015 and Spring 2016 semesters. Some of these positions offer a monthly stipend and tuition remission.

ALUMNI AND PARENT RELATIONS
1 (one) Graduate General Service Assistant FALL 2015/SPRING 2016   (STIPEND & TUITION)

Qualifications:
1.Earned Bachelor's degree (prior to starting date).
2.Currently enrolled SAU graduate students: Proof of SAU Registration required.
Prospective SAU graduate students: Officially applied to SAU graduate program for fall semester 2015. Eventual acceptance into graduate program required.
3. Strong public relations, communication, time management, and organizational skills.
4. Ability to work in a team oriented atmosphere.
5. Strong computer Microsoft skills, COLLEAGUE knowledge is a plus.
6. Some weekend and holiday hours may be required. - prefer candidates who are able to work between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

ATHLETICS
Men's Basketball Graduate Assistant Coach
1 (one) Graduate General Service Assistant FALL 2015/SPRING 2016   (STIPEND & TUITION)

Qualifications:
1. Earned Bachelor's degree (prior to starting date).
2. Currently enrolled SAU graduate students: Proof of 2013 SAU Registration required.
Prospective SAU graduate students: Officially applied to SAU graduate program for fall semester
2013. Eventual acceptance into graduate program required.
3. Previous basketball coaching experience preferred, collegiate basketball playing experience required. Assist the head coach in the day-to-day operations of a nationally competitive intercollegiate program, team travel, summer camps, public relations, film review, study halls and other administrative duties as assigned. Involves team travel and some overnight and weekend trips.
4. Strong public relations, communication, time management, and organizational skills.
5. Ability to work in a team oriented atmosphere, including strong supervisory skills.
6. Strong computer skills, especially in a Windows setting and with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel)

Men's LaCrosse Graduate Assistant Coach

3. Previous LaCrosse coaching experience preferred, collegiate LaCrosse playing experience required. Prospective SAU graduate students: Officially applied to SAU graduate program for fall semester 2015. Eventual acceptance into graduate program required.
3. Previous experience in campus recreation preferred; other related experience will be considered.
4. Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills.
5. Ability to work in a team-oriented atmosphere; is a self-starter, including strong supervisory and interpersonal skills.
6. Strong computer skills, especially in a Windows setting and with Microsoft Office suite

GRADUATE ADMISSIONS
2 (two) Graduate General Service Assistants - FALL 2015/SPRING 2016 - (STIPEND & TUITION)

Qualifications:
• Earned bachelor's degree (prior to starting date).
• Currently enrolled SAU graduate students: Proof of SAU Registration required. Prospective SAU graduate students: Officially applied to SAU graduate program for fall semester 2015. Eventual acceptance into graduate program required.
• Previous experience in admissions work preferred; other related experience will be considered.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and complete projects in a timely manner.
• Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). Colleague and Recruiter knowledge is a plus.
• Web and database research skills.
• Hours are flexible and may include evenings
• Work 12 hrs / week

INSTITUTIONAL ASSESSMENT AND RESEARCH

6. Strong computer skills, especially in a Windows setting and with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
7. Flexible schedule-day and evening hours

RECORDS & REGISTRATION
1 (one) Graduate General Service Assistant - FALL 2015/SPRING 2016 (STIPEND ONLY)

Qualifications:
1. Earned Bachelor's degree (prior to starting date).
2. Currently enrolled SAU graduate students: Proof of SAU Registration required.
3. Prospective SAU graduate students: Officially applied to SAU graduate program for fall semester 2014. Eventual acceptance into graduate program required.
4. Previous experience in records office preferred; other related experience will be considered.
5. Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills.
6. Ability to work in a team oriented atmosphere.
7. Strong computer skills, especially in a Windows setting and with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.) Ellucian knowledge is a plus.
