GRADUATE GENERAL SERVICES ASSISTANT POSITION OPENINGS FOR 2014-15

We are now accepting formal applications for Graduate General Service Assistants for the Fall 2014 and Spring 2015 semesters. Some of these positions offer a monthly stipend and tuition remission of up to 24 credit hours per calendar year.

Student Activities -2 (two) Graduate General Assistant starting in fall 2014 (stipend & tuition remission)

Qualifications:
1. Earned Bachelor's degree.
2. Currently enrolled SAU graduate students: Proof of 2014 SAU Registration required.
Prospective SAU graduate students: Officially applied to SAU graduate program for fall semester 2014. Eventual acceptance into graduate program required.
3. Previous experience in Student Life preferred; other related experience will be considered.
4. Strong public relations, communication, time management, and organizational skills.
5. Ability to work in a team oriented atmosphere is a self-starter including strong supervisory skills.
6. Strong computer skills, especially in a Windows setting and with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
7. Several weekend and evening hours will be required.

Graduate Admissions- 2 (two) Graduate General Assistant starting in fall 2014 (stipend & tuition remission)

Qualifications:
1. Earned Bachelor's degree.
2. Currently enrolled SAU graduate students: Proof of 2014 SAU Registration required.

3. Strong customer service, communication, time management, and organizational skills.
4. Ability to work in a team oriented atmosphere is a self-starter.
5. Strong computer skills, especially in a Windows setting and with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Qualifications
1. Earned Bachelor's degree (prior to starting date).
2. Currently enrolled SAU graduate students: Proof of 2014 SAU Registration required. Prospective SAU graduate students: Officially applied to SAU graduate program for fall semester 2014. Eventual acceptance into graduate program required.
3. Previous dance coaching or teaching experience preferred, competitive dance experience required. Assist the head coach in the day-to-day operations of a nationally competitive intercollegiate program, team travel, summer camps, public relations, film review, study halls and other administrative duties as assigned. Involves team travel and some overnight and weekend trips.
4. Strong public relations, communication, time management, and organizational skills.
5. Ability to work in a team oriented atmosphere, including strong supervisory skills.
6. Strong computer skills, especially in a Windows setting and with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel)

Women's Basketball Graduate Assistant Coach (stipend & tuition remission)
Qualifications
1. Earned Bachelor's degree (prior to starting date).
2. Currently enrolled SAU graduate students: Proof of 2014 SAU Registration required. Prospective SAU graduate students: Officially applied to SAU graduate program for fall semester 2014. Eventual acceptance into graduate program required.
3. Previous basketball coaching experience preferred, collegiate basketball playing experience required. Assist the head coach in the day-to-day operations of a nationally competitive intercollegiate program, team travel, summer camps, public relations, film review, study halls and other administrative duties as assigned. Involves team travel and some overnight and weekend trips.
4. Strong public relations, communication, time management, and organizational skills.
5. Ability to work in a team oriented atmosphere, including strong supervisory skills.
6. Strong computer skills, especially in a Windows setting and with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel)

Men's Soccer Graduate Assistant Coach (stipend & tuition remission)
Qualifications
1. Earned Bachelor's degree (prior to starting date).
2. Currently enrolled SAU graduate students: Proof of 2014 SAU Registration required.

3. Previous soccer coaching experience preferred, collegiate soccer playing experience required. Assist the head coach in the day-to-day operations of a nationally competitive intercollegiate program, team travel, summer camps, public relations, film review, study halls and other administrative duties as assigned. Involves team travel and some overnight and weekend trips.

Track Graduate Assistant Coach (stipend & tuition remission)
Qualifications
1. Earned Bachelor's degree (prior to starting date).
2. Currently enrolled SAU graduate students: Proof of 2014 SAU Registration required. 
Prospective SAU graduate students: Officially applied to SAU graduate program for fall semester 2014. Eventual acceptance into graduate program required.
3. Previous track and field coaching experience preferred, collegiate track and field experience in sprints, jumps, hurdles, pole vault or distance running required. Assist the head coach in the day-to-day operations of a nationally competitive intercollegiate program, team travel, summer camps, public relations, film review, study halls and other administrative duties as assigned. Involves team travel and some overnight and weekend trips.
4. Strong public relations, communication, time management, and organizational skills.
5. Ability to work in a team oriented atmosphere, including strong supervisory skills.
6. Strong computer skills, especially in a Windows setting and with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel)

STUDENTS WITH DISABILITIES - 1 (one) Graduate General Assistant starting in fall 2014 (stipend & partial tuition remission)

3. Previous experience in working with individuals; other related experience will be considered.

5. Ability to work 20 hours per week in 4 hour blocks preferred

Qualifications
1. Earned Bachelor's degree (prior to starting date).
2. Currently enrolled SAU graduate students: Proof of SAU Registration required.
Prospective SAU graduate students: Enrolled into a graduate program beginning fall semester 2014.
3. Strong public relations, communication, time management, and organizational skills.
4. Ability to work in a team oriented atmosphere.
5. Strong computer skills and DATATEL/Ellucian knowledge is a plus.
6. Some weekend and holiday hours may be required.
7. Previous experience in working with diversity related content and/or diverse individuals preferred; other related experience will be considered.

CAMPUS MINISTRY - 1 (one) Graduate General Assistant starting in fall 2014 (stipend & tuition remission)

Qualifications

4. Previous experience in records office preferred; other related experience will be considered.
5. Strong communication, time management, and organization skills.
6. Ability to work in a team oriented atmosphere.
7. Strong computer skills, especially in a Windows setting and with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc) Ellucian knowledge is a plus.
8.  Scheduled daytime hours.

INSTITUTIONAL ASSESSMENT & RESEARCH – (one) Graduate General Service Assistant starting fall 2014 (stipend only)
