Within 3 business days of submission, the proposal will be assigned to the IRB chair, or one or more committee members for review, and the Principal Investigator will be notified of the assignment.
Proposals requiring a Level 2 review should be submitted at least one week prior to the next scheduled meeting. Level 2 proposals will be reviewed by all members of the committee at the next scheduled full IRB meeting.
The Institutional Review Board usually meets on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month during the academic year. Other meeting dates and times are scheduled as the Board's workload requires.
Proposals will be evaluated on a first-come, first-served basis by the submission date. The Board meets in Hayes Hall 204 at 3 p.m. on the following dates (except where noted). A response will be sent to the investigators in a timely manner.
