American Collegiate Experience

International students with local business owner
ACE students meet with a local business owner.

 May 22-June 18, 2017

The American Collegiate Experience (ACE) program is designed for highly motivated students who seek a unique American cultural immersion opportunity on a beautiful campus in the heartland of the United States. Learn how to become a more marketable student in an American context!

The topics will include:

  • Research and writing skills in American higher education
  • Novel communication and marketing practices
  • Effective corporate strategies
  • Cutting-edge innovation in American companies
  • Talent management for competitive advantage
  • Laboratory skills experience for Chemistry students

The program will consist of workshop sessions, field visits, and social activities.

This program is not for academic credit. Upon successful completion, participants will earn a Certificate of Completion from St. Ambrose University.

Cost

Cost for the 2017 ACE is $3,895 and includes:

  • Orientation
  • Local transportation to and from airport and field visits
  • Furnished on-campus housing
  • Lunches provided
  • Welcome Reception and Closing Ceremony banquet
  • Access to computer labs and library
  • Special events, including a Memorial Day Weekend filled with activities.
  • 2-day trip to Chicago
  • Certificate of Completion


If you are accepted into the program, you will receive a formal acceptance letter from St. Ambrose University. Please be sure to apply for your passport immediately!
