One of KALA's most popular shows is "PRI's The World". Every weekday at 5 pm on 88.5 FM, host Marco Werman and his team of producers bring you the world's most interesting stories in an hour of radio that reminds us just how small our planet really is.

Write us a poem, take a picture, create an art project, build a Lego model, create an online animation, or video - however you want to express it, tell us what you have learned by listening to "PRI's The World". Listen March 24-28, 2014 and pick a topic you learned about during the shows aired that week to focus your project on. You can listen over the air at 88.5 FM, or online by logging onto kalafm.org and clicking the green box labeled "How to Listen". We'll pick the best project from each division and announce the winners April 25, 2014. The deadline for all entries is April 18, 2014. Winners in each category will receive an iPod nano and their project will be showcased on our station website and social media pages. Second and third place winners will receive a special certificate and KALA t-shirt. In addition to individual winners, a prize will also be given to the teacher whose class submits the most entries. The teacher will win a pizza party for their classroom.
