Two Super Bowl events on campus allowed students to enjoy the "big game" while raising money for the people of Haiti.
'Souper Bowl' of Caring
The "Souper Bowl of Caring" began more than 20 years ago with a simple prayer: "Lord, as we enjoy the Super Bowl football game, help us to be mindful of those without even a bowl of soup to eat." Millions of dollars are spend on advertising during the Super Bowl and yet millions of people go hungry. Donations collected during Mass will be forwarded to the Churches United food pantry.
