Seven St. Ambrose students were selected from colleges and universities throughout Iowa to be a part of the 2010 Iowa Collegiate Honor Band:
Chloe Aguirre, a sophomore flutist from Wadsworth, IL, majoring in Psychology
Robert Dunham, a sophomore trombonist from Robins, majoring in Criminal Justice
Taylor Everding, a sophomore trumpeter from Eldridge, majoring in Computer Science
Luke Foster, a sophomore tubist from Burlington, majoring in Philosophy
Lawrence Hammer, a junior tubist from Hanna City, IL, majoring in Psychology & Marketing
Heather Runyon, a junior clarinetist from St. Louis, MO, majoring in Special Education
Abby Sloan, a sophomore clarinetist from Rock Island, IL, majoring in Accounting and Business Management
The 100-member band will represent 17 Iowa colleges and universities. The group will perform at the annual Iowa Music Educators Association conference on the campus of Iowa State University, Ames, Saturday, Nov. 20, at 2:30 p.m. in the Ames City Auditorium. The concert is free and open to the public.
