Join a reading group focused on topics ranging from service, giving, leadership and association.

The 'Civically Engaged Reader' is comprised of 40 diverse readings drawn from literature, philosophy and religion. The series is sponsored by St. Ambrose Justice and Peace Studies and the Scott County Regional Authority.
The first discussion will be centered on the section of the 'Civically Engaged Reader' entitled "Associating."
Three additional book discussion groups will be held:
February 16, will cover the second section of the book "Serving."
March 1 will cover the third section of the book "Giving."
March 8 will cover the fourth and final section of the book "Leading."
Each discussion group will be held from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the Christ the King Chapel, Gathering Space.
Film Series
A Justice and Peace Studies film series will be held on April 12 and April 19 at 7:30 p.m. at Rave Cinema, 3601 East 53rd Street, Davenport. The series is free and open to the public with refreshments provided.
