Twelve SAU Model United Nations Society members competed with over 500 students at the Midwest Model United Nations Conference Feb. 15-18 and will head to Chicago in November for the American Model United Nations (AMUN) International Conference.
This year's team won more rounds against tough and nationally-ranked opponents than past teams and they also earned a spot on everyone else's "watch out" list.
It all came down to the fourth round.
The St. Ambrose Mock Trial Team's 4-4 finish earned it a top third finish in the 25th Annual Loras College National Invitational Tournament.
