Vatican Librarian to Lecture on Campus

Presented by Monsignor Cesare Pasini, prefect of the Biblioteca Aposatolica Vaticana in Rome, and one of the world's foremost scholars on Saint Ambrose of Milan, "Progressing with Freedom Toward Humilty: Images and Thoughts of Ambrose of Milan" will be a blend of spirituality and theology, which will discuss the Christian call to lose oneself, to surrender one's own desires and ideologies in order to encounter Christ.

The lecture will be followed by a question-and-answer session, and is open to students, faculty, staff and the public free of charge.

The lecture will be followed by the Feast of Saint Ambrose Mass at 6:30 p.m. in the Christ the King Chapel. A reception will follow the mass.
