Many students will tell you that they are not people of "privilege". "White privilege" the advantages that are inherently available to white people in America that are not enjoyed by "people of color," is a concept that is foreign to many students. In the video lecture "Tim Wise: On White Privilege," Wise offers a deeply personal take on whiteness, white privilege, and racism in America. Wise explains how white privilege damages not only people of color, but white people as well, in the process providing an accessible, and powerful, introduction to the social construction of racial identities.

The Rogalski Center is located at the corner of Ripley and Lombard Streets, one block west of Harrison Street.
