Dance Marathon at St. Ambrose is an eight-hour event jam-packed with dancing, games, activities, food and stories from families who have benefited from Children's Miracle Network. The event is the culmination of a year of fundraising by Dance Marathon participants and a celebration of the lives of the children and families that the money will be helping.The spirit of the event is a joyous celebration of life and hope for the future, which is echoed in the mission statement of St. Ambrose University Dance Marathon: "Dance Marathon is a yearlong celebration of life to provide emotional and financial support for the Children's Miracle Network at the University of Iowa Children's Hospital in Iowa City. Dance Marathon is for the kids, and at St. Ambrose we 'Bee-lieve in The Kids.'"
Preregistered dancers have a fund-raising goal of $75. To register as a dancer for SAU Dance Marathon, please go to our website and click "Dancers Register Here." Walk-ins will also accepted the day of the event for $10.
