"You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown" Hits the Main Stage

December 2010

The children's show of the 2010-11 season hit the Allaert Auditorium Dec. 4-5th at 3 PM. You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown is a delightful show that brings the characters of the classic "Peanuts" comic strip to life.

Jonathan Smith '13 played the title character, the silly and hopeful Charlie Brown. The show brings to life many of the most memorable stories including the little redheaded girl that Charlie Brown has a crush on; Lucy's (Stephanie Seward '13) infatuation with Schroeder (Jonathan Ryan ‘13); and of course, Linus (Derek Bettis ‘14) and his beloved blanket are seen here and there throughout the show.

The show would not be complete without the cute and somewhat philosophical Sally (Molly Conrad '14), and everyone's favorite: Charlie Brown's trusty companion, Snoopy (Andrew Benson '11). The show is full of catchy tunes that will put smiles on all of the faces in the audience!

You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown is a very appealing show for young and old alike! It conjures fond memories for our adult patrons as they are brought back into the world of the good friend they grew up with. The show is extremely upbeat, fast-paced, and family friendly! The characters are sweet little children full of clever jokes that will make children giggle and keep them wanting more. Although the show is the children's show this year, SAU performed to more than 7,000 students of all ages!
