Auditions for the Upcoming Mainstage Show: Columbinus

December 2010

The kick-off to the spring semester for the Theater department is Columbinus directed by Dan Rairdin-Hale. Columbinus is a documentary drama that explores the events surrounding the April 1999 massacre at Columbine High School in Littleton, Colorado.

Auditions for Columbinus will be held Tuesday, Dec. 7 from 6:30-8:30 PM and Wednesday, Dec. 8 from 4-6 PM in the Allaert Auditorium (main stage in Galvin). To prepare for auditions, copies of the script will be available in the box office. Please read through it and get a feel for the script. During auditions, there will be some cold reads done and some work on movement exercises. Majors and Minors in theater should prepare a one minute-long monologue. Individuals auditioning should be warned that there is adult content, language, situations and violence involved with this production.
