How One DPT Alum is Giving Back

03/22/2011

In 2009, Anthony Caronia graduated from the St Ambrose University transitional Doctor of Physical Therapy program. He valued his education at St. Ambrose University so much that he and his wife, Jennifer, decided to establish the Anthony and Jennifer Caronia Scholarship for students enrolled in the entry-level DPT program.

The Caronias wanted this scholarship to go to a student who has overcome a hardship or personal struggle to successfully enter a physical therapy program, has a compelling story about why he or she chose a career in physical therapy, or has a strong intention to give back to the profession of physical therapy. The scholarship award helps pay for the student's text books and supplies.

This award was given for the first time in 2010 to an incoming student in the Class of 2012 and will be awarded again this fall to a student in the Class of 2013.

We thank Anthony and Jennifer for this generous donation and helping our students.
