St. Ambrose is taking on scientific research in a big way this summer with two research institutes.
The Undergraduate Summer Research Institute for the Behavioral and Natural Sciences (the first one) is currently underway for biology, psychology, behavioral neuroscience and industrial engineering students. They are conducting research for six weeks on two topics:

• Utilizing neural signals for control of a prosthetic hand - a virtual and robotic model of a hand, controlled through a simple computer-control system
The students are taking turns writing this blog, complete with pictures! Read More.
