St. Ambrose fans, players, coaches and student turned Lee Lohman Arena pink on Feb. 4 to help raise funds for the Kramer Society of the Quad-Cities and pay homage to Betsy Shovlain, who served as honorary captain for the Queen Bees during their annual Pink Out game. The wife of men's coach and SAU athletic director Ray Shovlain fought breast cancer and survived over the past year. She came forward to remind women of the necessity of getting regular mamograms.

Betsy talks about the support of the St. Ambrose community and the importance of mammogram testing in this video interview.

Read about the Shovlain family's challenging year in the Quad-City Times and The Daily Dispatch.
