"A Midsummer Night's Dream" is William Shakespeare's popular comedy about people falling for the wrong people, fairies arguing amongst themselves, and rude mechanicals trying to become actors. Since early March, director Daniel Rairdin-Hale has been rehearsing his cast for the classic comedy.
"Dan has some great ideas that are fun and different," says freshman Stage Manager, Meghan McLaughlin. "Executing them will be challenging for both actors and the design team, but the closer we get to show date the more challenges have been dealt with. Shakespeare is difficult to understand, but the way the show is designed the story will not only be understandable, but fun to watch!"
It sounds like everything is going great for "A Midsummer Night's Dream!" Performances are April 13 and 14 at 7:30 p.m., and April 15 at 3 p.m.. The show is free to all SAU students with ID. Hope to see you there!
