Lewis Hall undergoes major remodeling.

Construction and remodeling projects on campus will make a significant economic contribution to the Quad Cities this summer. In all, five summer projects will deliver an estimated $27 million impact on the local economy and provide the equivalent of approximately 270 jobs.
What's more, returning students will enjoy the benefit of another beautiful state-of-the-art residence hall, big, bright science labs—and more parking and dining room space!
North Hall - $10 million
St. Ambrose's latest four-floor residence hall will provide 204 new beds in both suite- and apartment-style rooms.
Parking Lots - $600,000
Three new lots on Gaines Street will provide an additional 130 parking spaces.
Lewis Hall Renovation - $1.5 million
New chemistry and biology labs will be added on the first floor of Lewis Hall to accommodate an increase in biology and chemistry majors.
Cosgrove Hall Dining Room Expansion - $600,000
The expansion will provide dining space for 100 additional students.
New Data Center - $800,000
Relocated to the St. Ambrose Library basement, the IT Department's new state-of-the-art data center has the latest in environmental controls, ensuring consistent delivery of services related to the university's information technology needs.
