St. Ambrose grad will lead Niabi ZooMarc Heinzman said he grew up loving monkeys. "I've always been a monkey person," he told the Quad City Times after being appointed as director of the Naibi Zoo near the end of June.
Heinzman didn't monkey around as an SAU biology major. The Rock Island resident studiously prepared for a career in zoology. Now, at 27, he will lead his hometown zoo.
