
The "Around the World in a Snapshot Photo Contest" is an annual event held each Spring during Multicultural Week. The photo contest gives all students, staff, faculty and alumni an opportunity to share their travel experiences as a means to achieve greater understanding of others. Photos are judged by the campus community and winners are selected in six categories:
Participation:
Participants must submit both a 5x7" hard copy AND a high resolution .jpg version of each photo. No matting please. Submit photos to the Center for International Education, 300 Ambrose Hall and studyabroad@sau.edu.
The following information must be included with each photo entry:
Deadline: All entries must be received by Friday, March 1.

Voting & Prizes
Photos will be displayed on campus during Multicultural Week (March 24-29). The SAU community is invited to vote for their favorite photos in each category. The winners will be announced in the "This Week in the Center for International Education" email newsletter and on the Study Abroad website. Winners will receive Bookstore gift certificates. The winning photos in each category will be framed and displayed in the SAU Library for one year .
Disclaimer:
By submitting your photos to the contest, you release all materials to be used by the Center for International Education exclusively for promotional reasons. This includes, but is not limited to print, video and digital mediums. All photos will be credited to you when used. If photos are found to not have been taken by the person who submitted the photo, entries will automatically be disqualified from the contest. Photos will be available for pickup by participants after the contest is over. Photos that are not picked up by May 1 will become the property of the Center for International Education.
