International Ambrosians 'Market' University to Prospective Overseas Students

Youlong "Ted" Li is sharing pictures of his room in West Hall, of the library, of the chapel and of all the things the St. Ambrose senior appreciates about what he calls "a Catholic place" with teens back home in his native China. 

The benefits of letting international students sell the worth of an education at St. Ambrose is among the ways the university hopes to market itself to prospective students overseas. That's part of the message David O'Connell, dean of the College of Business, shared about SAU's international growth with members of the Muscatine Rotary Club.

"You let students do the selling," O'Connell told the group.
