Fifteen DPT students and six faculty members traveled to San Diego, Calif., for the 2013 American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) Combined Sections Meeting (CSM).
Combined Sections Meeting involves four days of programming and events sponsored by the 18 specialty sections of the APTA. CSM also provides great networking opportunities and a chance to catch up with friends and colleagues.
DPT Program and Residency Program graduate Brianna Schlichte (pictured at right) presented a case report at the poster presentation titled "Neurological Complications After Arthoscopic Tenotomy of the Long Head of the Biceps," and faculty member Dr. Bryon Ballantyne presented a poster titled, "Risk Factors Contributing to the Development of Medial Tibial Stress Syndrome: A Systematic Review with Meta-Analysis."
