April 2013

Major: Psych/ Pre-Occupational Therapy

Age that you started theatre: 6-years-old

Dream Role and Why: I would love to play Clementine from Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind because I envy her uninhibited nature. I also relate to her struggle to explore every corner of life and tackle every experience she can with the time she has.

Productions I've been involved in: I was involved in Speech and Debate all through high school. I was also was cast as Gayle in Almost, Maine.

Latest Project: I played Estelle in No Exit.

Why I chose SAU: This is going to sound pretty cliché, but as soon as I stepped on the campus, I was sold. Not even the smell of Purina Cat Food could drive me away.

If I could have any job in the world: I would love to work at an elephant sanctuary. That's what I get for only watching Animal Planet as a kid.

Who/what inspires me the most: My grandmother, Rachel McKay. I'm named after her, and I couldn't have asked for a better namesake. She is the strongest woman in my life, and I can't thank her enough for the guidance and wisdom she's given me throughout the years.

Where do I see myself in five years: I see myself working in a foreign country through Doctors without Borders or the Peace Corps.
