Unique Graduate Education Program

May 2013

The St. Ambrose Master of Education in Teaching program is the only program in the Quad Cities area that focuses on the professional teaching outcomes identified by the National Board for Professional Teaching standards.

In additional to the quality of the program, its practical application to the classroom is built into the coursework. Read what our current students have to say:

"I think much more when I am lesson planning and teaching to make sure it's relevant to student learning."
Rachel Ingstad

"I am making changes to some of my lessons that I believe will improve student learning and achievement."
Deb Hall

"I realize if I keep up my expectations, the student will keep up theirs."
Megan Luloff

"I take away lots of ideas from the instructor and others in the cohort to apply in my own classroom."
Rachel Niles

Our students are turning the heads of the building administrators, being asked to share their research or spearhead curriculum improvement committees.
