It's almost that time of year again! St. Ambrose will be presenting its annual children's musical.
This year the children's show is Toy Camp. Dr. Corinne Johnson, chair of the Theatre Department, will direct.
Do you know how toys get to the store to be bought? They must earn their price tags by graduating from Toy Camp! This show is about a group of toys who figure out exactly what kind of toy they want to be and how to embrace their individuality. It has a wonderful message for all ages.
"The theme of this show is that you should always be yourself," says Dr. Johnson. It is a fun-filled show with a lot of great songs for the children to enjoy. Alums Stephanie DeLacy '09 and Keaton Connell '13 will be back and onboard as choreographer and musical director, respectively.
Auditions are in Allaert Auditorium Tuesday, October 8, at 3 p.m and Wednesday, October 9, at 4 p.m. Students should dress in clothing that allows movement and prepare one verse and one chorus of a children's song. It sure is going to be a great time, so come on out and earn your price tags at Toy Camp!
