Olive Farr Scholarships 2014

06/19/2014

Each year the Iowa Physical Therapy Foundation awards Olive Farr Scholarships to physical therapy and physical therapist assistant students in Iowa. Recipients are chosen based on demonstrated scholarship, potential for professional contributions, and leadership qualities.

This year, three students from St. Ambrose University were chosen for this honor: Catherine Berger, Jennifer Lynch, and Toni Monat.

Catherine served as president of the Student Physical Therapy Organization (SPTO) and helped coordinate a National Fall Prevention Awareness event.

Jennifer is a licensed physical therapist assistant who returned to school for her DPT degree. She was the vice president of SPTO and served as a leader within her class.

Toni served as a teaching assistant in the physical agents course, assisted in numerous departmental activities such as our interview days, and was a leader within her class. All three students will be graduating in December.

Congratulations to Catherine, Jennifer and Toni!
