This spring, students, faculty and graduates of the DBA program have reported several accomplishments.
DBA student Drew Debrey will be presenting his case "Tragedy at Yarnell Hills: Deadly Choices" at the Eastern Academy of Management meeting in Philadelphia.
Several individuals had their research papers accepted for presentation at the Academy of Management meeting in Vancouver, BC:
· Dick Kleine '13, Monica Forret, and Sherry Sullivan will be presenting "What Transpires During Formal Mentoring? A Multisource Study"
· Fr. Sabu George '14 and Monica Forret will be presenting "Top Management Team Commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility: How it Relates to Employee Engagement"
· Mike Thome '14 and Jessica Greenwald will be presenting "Turning Outsiders to Insiders: A Study of Job and Community Embeddedness on Voluntary Turnover"
· Jenna Pieper, Jessica Greenwald, and Steven Schlachter will be presenting "Risk Versus Reward: The Impetus for Referring Job Candidates"
Shelly McCallum '08 has published "An Examination of the Flipped Classroom Approach on College Student Academic Involvement" in the International Journal of Teaching and Learning in Higher Education.
Mark Maltarich, Jessica Greenwald, and Greg Reilly have published "Team Level Goal Orientation: An Emergent State Impacted by Inputs, Process, and Outcomes" in the European Journal of Work and Organizational Psychology.
Alex Stajkovic, Dongseop Lee, Jessica Greenwald, & Joe Raffiee have published "The Role of Core Confidence in Self-regulation: Theory Development and Testing in Four Studies" in the Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes journal.
Lastly, Dan Ebener '07 is the 2015 recipient of the Yves Congar Award at the upcoming Conference for Pastoral Planning and Council Development being held in San Antonio.
