Here's the Theatre Department Lineup for 2015-16:

Jerry Finnegan's Sister, by Jack Neary
Directed by sophomore Sam Jones '17
Studio Theatre - September 2015
A story of the unrequited "something" that Brian Dowd has struggled with over 10 years for his best friend's sister, Beth Finnegan. The play follows their story from age 7 to their 20s when Brian finds out that Beth is getting married. Now is the time for Brian to put up or shut up in order to get the love of his life.

Parade, by Alfred Uhry; music and lyrics by Jason Robert Brown
Directed by Daniel Rairdin-Hale
Allaert Auditorium - October 2015
In 1913, Leo Frank, a Brooklyn-raised Jew living in Georgia is put on trial for the murder of 13-year-old Mary Phagan, a factory worker under his employ. Already guilty in the eyes of everyone around him, a sensationalist publisher and a janitor's false testimony seal Leo's fate. His only defenders are a governor with a conscience, and, eventually, his assimilated Southern wife who finds the strength and love to become his greatest champion.

Junie B. Jones, by Marcy Heisler; music by Zina Goldrich
Directed by Kim Furness
Allaert Auditorium - December 2015
It's Junie's first day of first grade and a lot of things have changed for her: Junie's friend Lucille doesn't want to be her best pal anymore, and on the bus, Junie B. makes friends with Herb, the new kid at school. Also, Junie has trouble reading the blackboard and her teacher Mr. Scary thinks she may need glasses. Throw in a friendly cafeteria lady, a kickball tournament and a "Top-Secret Personal Beeswax Journal", and first grade has never been more exciting.

Hedda Gabbler, by Henrik Ibsen
Directed by Dr. Corinne Johnson
Allaert Auditorium - February 2016
Hedda Gabler returns, dissatisfied, from a long honeymoon. Bored by her aspiring-academic husband, she foresees a life of tedious settlement. And so, aided and abetted by her predatory confidante, Judge Brack, she begins to manipulate the fates of those around her to devastating effect.

Orphans, by Lyle Kessler
Directed by junior Rachael Pribulsky '17
Studio Theatre - March 2016
Two brothers, Phillip, sensitive, reclusive, never venturing out of his North Philly home and Treat, a violent pickpocket and thief who kidnaps a mysteriously wealthy businessman. The man turns the table on the two brothers and in strange, hilarious and moving way, becomes their long lost father figure.

Noises Off, by Michael Frayn
Directed by Daniel Rairdin-Hale
Allaert Auditorium - April 2016
Called the funniest farce ever written, Noises Off presents a manic menagerie as a cast of itinerant actors rehearsing a flop called Nothing's On. Doors slamming, on and offstage intrigue, and an errant herring all figure in the plot of this hilarious and classically comic play.
