It's been years in the making, but it's finally here.
When Master of Organizational Leadership Associate Professor Dan Ebener and MOL Adjunct Instructor Fred Smith couldn't find a suitable textbook for their strategic planning classes as well as a step-by-step handbook for their consulting partnership, they decided to write their own.
After more than five years, Strategic Planning: An Interactive Process for Leaders, is now available at Amazon and through Paulist Press.
"We couldn't be happier with the initial feedback we are receiving about how easy to read it is and how clearly the book lays out our process of strategic planning," Ebener said.
In addition to sharing their own expertise in preparing the text, Ebener and Smith enlisted MOL students to read the preliminary draft chapter-by-chapter and share feedback that was essential to the final product.
