The MBA program has added a fourth, optional concentration to the program, one focused on leadership.

The leadership concentration consists of four additional classes offered in the Master of Organizational Leadership program. Collaborating in the development of this special track were MBA program director Randy Richards, PhD, and MOL program director Ron Wastyn, PhD.

Recent, regional research undertaken by the College revealed this concentration to be a top-pick among MBA prospects. The College is unique within the region in offering this track, one that will surely add to your skill set and success as a manager-leader.

"Ron and I are excited about this new development," Richards said. "The leadership concentration features four classes that are key improving management leadership."

The leadership concentration consists of the following four classes in a traditional classroom setting:
·      MOL 501 - Leadership Theory
·      MOL 529 - Conflict Management
·      MOL 540 - Leadership Communication
·      MOL 625 - Leading Organizational Change

These are in addition to the regular MBA course curriculum. Current MBA students can add this concentration to their program right now, and incoming students can sign up as well.

"This concentration is a great opportunity for both MBA and MOL students," Richards said. "MBA students get a really in-depth look at what leadership means, and MOL students get to work with students from outside of their program and get a new perspective."
