College of Business Introduces New Forever Masters Program

April 2017

Forever Masters beyond the degreeThe College of Business at St. Ambrose is excited to announce the Forever Masters™ program. Alumni of COB graduate degree programs – H. L. McLaughlin Master of Business Administration, Master of Organizational Leadership, Master of Accounting, and Doctor of Business Administration – are automatically members of our Forever Masters™ community and will enjoy an array of new benefits.

The goal of Forever Masters™ is to become your valued resource for professional development and growth. Rather than conclude our relationship with the issuance of your degree, we mark that event as the beginning of a career-long partnership in which the College of Business will continue to deliver learning materials contributing to your success, and the advancement of your firm and community.

"We want to become a resource for the alumni of our graduate programs," said Randy Richards, PhD, Director of the MBA Program. "Throughout their careers, we can provide them the training and information they will need to thrive and grow."

Graduate alumni will have access to three powerful elements of the program:

  • Special Events: One benefit of being a Forever Masters™ member is being invited to special events. These will include leading speakers on contemporary issues in business and society, expert panel discussions, or networking events involving you, our community of professionals.
  • Training & Professional Advancement: Ambrose graduate alums will have access to workshops through our Professional Development Center at a special Forever Masters™ rate, representing a significant savings over public pricing. These will range broadly in content, be of varying length, and are intended to change your performance today. Topics will include organizational behavior, leadership, project management, data analytics, sales and marketing, finance, conflict management and negotiations, communications skills, and others suggested by you, our community leaders.
  • Exclusive Content: Forever Masters™ members will also have access to exclusive content via email. Content will address trends in industry, managerial practices, and 'out of the box' thinking on sticky issues.

To kickoff this new program, the College of Business will be hosting its inaugural Speaker Event Monday, May 1. Keynote speaker, Art Kleiner, Editor and Chief of Strategy and Business, PriceWaterhouseCooper's global management magazine.

Kleiner will deliver a second session over breakfast on Tuesday, May 2. Details and registration are available here, so make sure to mark your calendar now and save the dates!
