Fresh Face Revue 2017

10/03/2017

Later this month, Allaert Auditorium will be home to 16 talented individuals making their St. Ambrose debut.

The Fresh Face Revue is a unique production in which first-year or transfer students have the ability to introduce themselves to the community. The event is geared towards welcoming and supporting these new students while they demonstrate their talents both on stage and off.

With one of the largest incoming classes in years, the evening will be a truly unique experience. Theatre Department Chair Daniel Rairdin-Hale, the director and coordinator of this year's Revue, disclosed that there might even be a group number.

There will be 16 individuals participating in the Fresh Face Revue this year, 14 of which are first-year students. These students have already begun preparing for this event, meeting weekly to discuss potential scenes, songs, and monologues. The students are largely responsible for rehearsing and strengthening their performances, while guided by Rairdin-Hale, and stage manager Jessica Karolczack '20.

This event is open to the public and free for all to attend! The production is October 20 at 7 p.m. in the Galvin Fine Arts Center, Allaert Auditorium. Fresh Face Revue lasts about an hour, and there will be refreshments in the lobby afterward.

We encourage all who are able to attend to do so, in efforts to support these hardworking and talented individuals and to welcome them to their new community.
