Adults, Families and Children: Celebrate the Year of the Dragon with food, learning and fun! The Rogalski Center is located at the corner of Ripley and Lombard Streets, one block west of Harrison Street.

3-5 p.m:
Children's program organized by the SAU Education Department
Tea party
Acupuncture
Calligraphy
Martial arts
Noodle-making
Chinese instrument demonstration

5-6 p.m: Sample plate of traditional Chinese meal including dumplings and roast pig
Additional food available for purchase.

6-7 p.m: Formal program including traditional rituals for celebrating the Chinese New Year

The annual event is presented by the Quad City Chinese Association, with additional sponsorship provided by the St. Ambrose Education Department and SAU Center for International Education.

China is a diverse nation with more than 5,000 years of rich history, and also a rising superpower boasting the world's second-largest and fastest-growing economy. "China Project: The Awakening Dragon" will explore China's global impact-both past and present-while bringing into focus the university's commitment to intercultural engagement.
