Inaugural Master of Physician Assistant Studies cohort has begun coursework
Congratulations to the 34 students who graduated from the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program in December.
When people think about higher education, there is a perception that we are only busy during the fall and spring semesters when classes are in full throttle. I can tell you that is far from the truth for the Physical Therapy Department.
More than 75 physical therapists and physical therapist assistants have taken continuing education courses through our Orthopaedic Course Series, and in 2015 the program will expand to six students and two more facilities.
Since its first class in 1993, the Physical Therapy program has matriculated more than 600 graduates.
Even though they are extremely busy in the classroom and with responsibilities outside of St. Ambrose University, they find time to give to the community.
