This tournament is the primary fundraising activity for our organization. The money raised will be used to support various philanthropic activities in the surrounding communities and provide resources for Doctor of Physical Therapy students to attend professional meetings at state and national levels.
Doctor of Physical Therapy students in action
In February, 36 DPT students along with seven faculty members traveled to Indianapolis, Ind., for the 2015 American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) Combined Sections Meeting (CSM).
Within the Physical Therapy Department, this commitment can be easily seen in how our students decide to spend their time outside the classroom.
On April 10-11, the SAU Physical Therapy Department is accepting mobility device donations 8 a.m.-5 p.m. at the Center for Health Sciences Education (CHSE), on the corner of Lombard and Marquette streets in Davenport.
