This course is designed to reinforce the value of the free enterprise system by providing experiential opportunities for educators and fostering issue awareness and skill development in a business atmosphere.
Date: June 16 - 20, 2014
Time: 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. daily. Attendance is mandatory.
Where: Each day is spent in separate business settings. Personal transportation is required.
Option A: Three graduate credits from St. Ambrose University
Option B: Two Professional Development credits through Mississippi Bend AEA
Graduate Credit Hours through St. Ambrose (3 credit hours):
Bettendorf and Pleasant Valley Teachers: $550
Other School District Teachers: $700 ($550 + $150) - includes graduate and Business
Education Partnership fees.
Professional Development Credits through Mississippi Bend AEA (2 credits):
Bettendorf and Pleasant Valley Teachers: $200
Other School District Teachers: $350 ($150 + $200) - includes professional development (AEA) and Business Education Partnership fees.
Teachers who are registering for graduate credit need to register and pay online.
Teachers who are registering for professional development credit, must register with the Mississippi Bend AEA.
Registration is open to Bettendorf and Pleasant Valley teachers ONLY until April 28th. After this date, registration will be open to any teacher in the Quad Cities and surrounding area.
Registration for this course will close on TBD. Registrations received after the close date will be charged an additional $25 late registration fee.
