Houses

Houses are a unique component of St. Ambrose living. Junior and senior students can live in individual campus houses in Davenport but still be a part of the campus residential community.

Living in a campus house allows students a taste of life after college and encourages responsibility and personal growth. Residence life and campus security ensure safety to the houses community, regularly doing walk-throughs and thorough rounds of the neighborhood.

So how do the houses keep connected to the rest of campus?

The Resident Advisors employed specifically for the houses community are vigilant about making sure the residents know all that is happening on campus. They also execute programs that encourage residents of the houses to leave their living rooms and come on to campus.

The houses community is a perfect blend of college and post-grad life. It is a space for learning, growing, and truly understanding what it is to be a good neighbor.
