We would like to introduce the 2015-2016 McCarthy Hall Staff. This highly-experienced veteran team is excited to become a resource toward your success at St. Ambrose University. Don't hesitate to knock on their door and ask questions. McCarthy Hall Staff is here to provide a great community and environment where we strive to help in the development of the well-rounded Ambrosian.
Alison DeVilder is the Hall Director for McCarthy Hall, Davis Hall, and the Houses and lives in Davis. She oversees the Student Hall Manager, Trineisha Gray, who lives in McCarthy and provides primary on-site support for McCarthy Hall.
Ashton Temple, Second Floor RA
McCarthy Hall 215
Ashton is a senior this year and has a hard time believing that this is her last year at Ambrose. She is studying Elementary Education so she can hang with kiddos all day because they are the source of her joy. She's from Bettendorf, IA, a treacherous trek of 5 miles down the road, and she went to Bettendorf High School (Bulldogz for lyfe). She loves to sing, dance, eat, laugh, and anything that has to do with Dance Marathon and FTK. She also likes to have adventures by herself or with others; she's not that picky. Ashton is beyond thrilled to be kicking it in McCarthy this year and build some pretty great relationships with all the homies in this club.
Simon Gott, Third Floor and International RA
McCarthy Hall 315
Simon is from Yorkshire, England, and he has thoroughly enjoyed his first three years at St. Ambrose. He is double majoring in Psychology and English. This will be Simon's second year with Residence Life and he can't wait to meet the new team. Simon loves traveling and would love to visit each of the 50 states during his time in America. He enjoys being a member of Habitat for Humanity and loves participating in intramural sports such as table tennis, volleyball and floor hockey. Simon loves competition, learning about new sports and cultures, and playing for the soccer team at St. Ambrose.
Michelle Pohl, Fourth Floor and Spiritual RA
McCarthy Hall 415
Michelle is a junior at SAU starting her first year in the Master of Occupational Therapy program. She's involved on campus through clubs and activities including Ambrose Peace and Justice, ADAPT, Campus Ministry, intramurals, and more! When Michelle isn't at a meeting or studying, she loves to sing and dance around in her room, so feel free to stop by and join the party! Michelle also enjoys all things from her beloved home state, Wisconsin, including milk, cheese, the PACKERS, etc! She is thrilled to be back for her second year in ResLife, and is pumped to make some great memories with her residents and staff this year!
