LULAC is a service organization that fosters the Latino culture at St. Ambrose University and its surrounding community by means of extending the cultural horizons of the college and nation. The league actively promotes cooperative relations with community, peers, and faculty in the field of public service and encourages the education of youth and adults through support. The St. Ambrose University student LULAC chapter is supported by the National LULAC and local Davenport, IA LULAC Council 10 branch which aims to create an understanding and recognition of appreciation for the dignity, worth and potential of every individual. An all-inclusive organization whose goals are to foster espirit de corps among military veterans, friends and family, while promoting and understanding issues that apply to those members. We hope to support and educate members as well as faculty and students on the St. Ambrose campus. Website

While identifying these, the students will formulate their own perspectives and develop a more intimate knowledge and education of current events while at the same time debating these issues and events with others.
