Jason Richter

Jason Richter graduated from Mount Mercy College in 1998 with a Bachelors degree in History. He received his Masters of Arts in Human Development degree from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota in 2009.  

At Saint Mary's he served as a hall director for two years, the Student Activities/Orientation coordinator for 4 years, and the Assistant Dean of Students for Activities, Leadership, and Service for 6 years.

He has served on a programming board for the last 20 years as a member, officer, and adviser.

2016-17 Board

Meet Juliana Froehlich, our President for this year! She's a senior nursing major from Aurora, Illinois, and is very involved around campus especially as a lead peer assistant, member of Nurses Christian fellowship, and Eucharistic minister. She's really excited for welcome week, her favorite CAB Event of the year!

Bailey Weber, a junior majoring in exercise science is excited to be our Vice President. He seems to always be at some campus event, whether it is at his biology SI sessions, Ju Jitsu Club, Student Activities events, or CAB events!

Katelyn Turney, a senior majoring in international business and accounting is really excited to serve as our treasurer and secretary for this school year! She's from Chicago, Illinois, and is an RA in McCarthy, Peer Assistant, and member of Accounting Club and Habitat for Humanity!

Madison Grundler, a sophomore majoring in psychology is really excited to be a part of CAB's Night Life Committee this year. She's a bingo fanatic and is also involved in SAAT, Music Club, and University Chorale.

Say hello to Jamie Schuh, a math and computer science major from Homer Glen, Illinois. She's on our Night Life Team and is also involved in the honors program, dance marathon, and also a volunteer at Scott County Humane Society.

Jennifer Yancy, is a senior majoring in Forensic Psychology. She is really excited for homecoming and fittingly, is serving as one of our late night coordinators. If you can't find her at a CAB event, chances are she's in the Beehive, one of her favorite places on campus!

Meet Rachel Peterson, a junior from Evergreen Park, Illinois! She's one of our Special Event chairs for this year and is excited for Grocery Bingo, one of our first events of the year.

Emily Nguyen, a sophomore majoring in biology and behavioral neuroscience. She's really excited to serve on the Special Events Committee this year! She's from Waterloo, Iowa, and is a part of Dance Marathon, Peer Assistant, Peer Campus Minister, Supplemental Instruction Leader, Psych Club and Chem Club.

Say hi to Abbie Tosch, a senior majoring in Elementary Education with an endorsement in reading. She's involved in many things, including women's basketball, dance marathon, and ADAPT and will be serving as one of our Special Event Chairs.

Meet Jessica Richter, a senior from New Boston, Illinois! She's majoring in Biology with hopes to be a Physician's Assistant, and is on our Late Night committee for this year! She's also involved in Biology Club, Doctors to Bee, Honors, and Tri Beta Honor Society. If you have an emergency, Jessica may be a great person to know considering she works with Genesis Ambulance Service and is a Scribe in both Genesis' Emergency Departments!

Kathryn Maher, a senior from Oswego, Illinois, is one of our community chairs for this school year! She's an exercise science major with hopes to go into physical therapy. When she's not helping out with CAB events, you can find her at meetings for Biology Club, Kinesiology Club, and Honors!

Say hi to Ashley Brandt, a sophomore Psychology major from Rockford, Illinois! You'll find her coordinating events for our Community Events committee, or at Music club, University Chorale, Chamber Singers, or SAAT.

Cameron Alvarez, a sophomore nursing major from Peoria, Illinois is excited to be our Spirit chair for this year! He is involved in SGA and is on our collegiate cheer and soccer teams. If you're looking for Cam, he's probably in what he calls "the most productive place on campus", a desk in the corner of the second floor of the library.

Matthew Mahoney, a junior from Waterloo, Iowa, is majoring in biology with hopes to go into medicine. He's pumped to be serving as one of our PR and Marketing chairs for this upcoming year and is also involved in SGA, Doctors to Bee, Campus Ministry, and is an SI for chemistry. He's very excited for all the acts we'll bring to campus this year!

Emily Pendleton, a sophomore from Pekin, IL is majoring in secondary education and is one of our PR and Marketing Directors! She is also part of the Family Relations Committee for Dance Marathon and is also involved in Love Your Melon. She's excited for this year of CAB!
