First Floor, North Hall
Davis Elkins is a senior for the 2015-2016 school year and is all pumped up! Davis hails from Quincy, Ill., where he attended Quincy Notre Dame High School. He attended St. Ambrose University because it was far away from home without being too far. He is majoring in Computer Network Administration and Business Management with a minor in Communication studies. This is Davis' 3rd in St. Ambrose Residence Life. He has been a RA in Cosgrove and an AHD in Franklin. He is currently involved with the Computer Club, IEEE, SAU Dance Marathon, SAU Dodgeball club, and MORE!! And when he isn't dealing with all of this, Davis enjoys video games, movies, sports, and hanging with his friends. He is glad to end his time at St. Ambrose in the same place that he started as a freshman! Latin: ACTA NON VERBA. English: ACTIONS NOT WORDS.
Melanie Perez, First Floor RA
Melanie is a current sophomore, and is double majoring in International Business and Marketing with hopes of going into advertising and traveling the world. She is the oldest of six children and comes from the north side of Chicago. In her free time, Melanie is probably glued to her phone reading an ebook or screaming (singing) and dancing in her room. If you are ever looking to fan girl over Harry Potter or binge watch Avatar: The Last Airbender she is your girl. Melanie is very excited for her first year with the Residence Life team and is looking forward to helping the freshman class!
Connor Flier, Second Floor RA
Hey y'all! My name is Connor and I am a sophomore Psychology major with a minor in Sociology. I hail from a tiny village called Mapleton, IL where corn and soy beans are my neighbors. I am thrilled for my first year as a R.A. on 2nd floor Bechtel! When I'm not studying or doing homework you'll find me working on music, watching Supernatural on Netflix, and spending time with friends. I pride myself on being a huge movie fanatic and collector, avid music club member, and master of the arts of sarcasm. I can't wait to make meaningful memories with my Residents and fellow R.A.s! Let's make it awesome!
Shana Atkinson, Third Floor RA
Shana is SUPER EXCITED to begin her second year as a freshman RA. Shana lives in Des Plaines, Illinois a Northwest suburb of Chicago. She is a junior majoring in Elementary and Special Education. She loves kids and dreams of becoming a teacher and having her own students one day. Besides being involved in Residence life, Shana is the current student Vice President of Sigma Alpha Phi. In her free time she enjoys going for runs, watching Netflix, or going on adventures with her friends. She is looking forward to a great year
Kaitlynn Mews, Third Floor RA
Hey! I'm Kaitlynn! I'm a sophomore Elementary Education major from East Peoria, IL. Last year I was involved in Bridge Bible Fellowship, the Loop, and Dance Marathon and had a blast at each! I love being outside in almost all weather conditions, but if I must be inside, you may catch me crocheting, painting, singing to myself, or catching up on my favorite TV shows if I'm not into my school work. I'm really looking forward to a great year!
