Katie is a sophomore majoring in international business and accounting, with minors in Spanish and theology. She came to Ambrose from Moscow Mills, Mo., (a small town 60 miles outside of St. Louis). Katie is super involved here at Ambrose; she served as vice president of Ambrosians for Peace and Justice last year and this year is now the Fast Fest co-chair and the Fair Trade Quarter chair. She is involved in Campus Ministry, Dance Marathon and works in the Admissions Office. In her free time, Katie enjoys spending time with friends, reading on her Kindle, watching movies, and watching Cardinals baseball games. Katie also enjoys traveling; she has studied abroad in Italy and Spain and looks to go to a few more countries before graduating. She is very excited about meeting her wonderful residents in North and coming back for a second year on the Residence Life team as the Academic Community Advisor.

I'm from Marengo, Ill., and I have one older brother who attends Northern Illinois University. I play basketball at Ambrose, major in Journalism as well as radio/TV. I am also a member of the honors program. I have two dogs, Daisy and Oreo. Some hobbies of mine are chess, golfing, and music. I've always wanted to live in Seattle or Portland, I couldn't tell you why. My favorite food is cereal and my favorite color is blue.

This fall semester, I will be a junior attending SAU. This is my first year as a part of the Res Life staff. I am from the small town of Erie, Illinois. I am majoring in Exercise Science and plan to apply for the Track II program for Physical Therapy. In my free time I like to play video games, listen to music, play sports, read, and hang out with friends. At SAU, I am a member of Phi Eta Sigma and plan to get involved with Habitat for Humanity this year. I am looking forward to meeting all of my residents this year and cannot wait for the school year to begin!

Rachel is eager to begin her sophomore year at Ambrose and her first year as a Resident Advisor. St. Ambrose is a perfect fit for her with their phenomenal Physical Therapy program. With interests in science and athletics she chose exercise science as her undergraduate degree. During the summer, she helps watch her baby nephew whom she adores. In her free time, Rachel enjoys playing tennis with her family, watching movies, tv, and relaxing with friends. She is a very passionate, hardworking individual and is excited to meet the whole North Hall community!

He will be heading into his Sophmore year at St. Ambrose University. Troy will be serving the guys' wing on the fourth floor in North Hall for his first year as an RA! Troy enjoys watching hockey, playing lacrosse, and fishing. Troy also worked for a moving company over the summer, so if you need help feel free to ask of his assistance. He looks forward to meeting all of the residents and making his floor THE floor!
Alyssa Eckstein, Fourth Floor RA
North Hall 401
Alyssa is thrilled to be starting her first semester as an RA in North Hall! She is from Roanoke, a tiny farm town in Central Illinois. She is a psychology major and recently started St. Ambrose's Master of Occupational Therapy program. She is passionate about OT, especially working with children. She spends her summers working at a day camp for children with autism. She loves to dance and is also an SAU cheerleader. If you smell popcorn in the building it is most likely coming from her room and she will never turn down an invitation to join you for ice cream or coffee. Alyssa can't wait for a great semester!
Emilee Steinbach, Fourth Floor RA

When Emilee is not spending time in the Davenport schools, she can be found spending time with friends, exercising, or participating in campus activities.
