Welcome to Rohlman! We are so excited to be here, and even more excited to have you here! With eight stellar staff members and over 200 incredible residents, we are confident that this is going to be a great year.
Residents living in Rohlman are lucky to live in the center of campus and be part of an area that puts on some awesome programs like the annual Ambrose Idol and Rohlman barbecue. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to help you make this year the best ever!
Second Floor, Rohlman Hall (by the bridge)
Ashton is excited to be spending her junior year as the AHD in Rohlman! Ashton is an Elementary Education major and loves every second of it. You can usually find Ashton dancing and singing around the hallways, pretending–to the best of her ability–to be Beyoncé. She also is probably talking about, wearing, or working on something Dance Marathon related, seeing as she's the Entertainment and Logistics Director for this year's big event! Ashton also loves glitter and would prefer to spend any, if not all, of her free time watching or re-reading Harry Potter. She is so excited for this next year and can't wait to see where it takes her! Welcome to Rohlman!
Tiffany Rohena, First Floor RA
Tiffany is a junior transfer majoring in Biology with an Environmental Sciences minor from Carolina, Puerto Rico. She is currently in her second year at Ambrose. You can spot her at Galvin, either working at the workshop or backstage at concerts, at Bowlmor with the SAU Bowling Team, or at club meetings such as M.A.C.A., Spanish Club and Biology Club. She hopes to become a veterinarian and even daydreams of being governor of Puerto Rico someday. There are no limits; if she wants to pursue a new goal, she'll persevere no matter the sacrifices that will have to be made in order to achieve it. Tiffany enjoys being around diversity, watching CW's Supernatural, and going to the beach. And no, lakes don't count!
Rachel Neece, First Floor RA
Rachel is eager to begin her junior year at Ambrose and her second year as a Resident Advisor. St. Ambrose is a perfect fit for her with their phenomenal Physical Therapy program. With interests in science and athletics she chose Exercise Science as her undergraduate degree. During the summer, she helps watch her 2-year-old nephew whom she adores. In her free time, Rachel enjoys playing tennis with her family, watching movies, TV, and relaxing with friends. She is a very passionate, hardworking individual and is excited to meet the whole Rohlman Hall community!
Simon Gott, Second Floor RA
Simon is from Yorkshire, England, and he has thoroughly enjoyed his first two years at St. Ambrose. His major is psychology with a minor in English. This will be Simon's first year with Residence Life and he can't wait to meet the team. Simon loves traveling and would love to visit each of the 50 states during his time in America. He enjoys being a member of Habitat for Humanity and loves participating in intramural sports such as table tennis, volleyball and floor hockey. Simon loves competition, learning about new sports and cultures, and playing for the soccer team at St. Ambrose.
Nick Pearce,Third Floor RA
Nick Pearce is a first-year RA and sophomore at SAU. Majoring in Theatre, he was born and raised in Iowa City, Iowa. Nick participates in theatre productions and in his spare time coaches 1st and 2nd grade soccer. He's pumped to be an RA!
Jessica Lewis, Third Floor RA
Jessica is ecstatic to begin her first year on the Residence life team! She is especially excited to be living in Rohlman Hall again; this will be her third year living there, so she knows the fastest way to get anywhere on campus from the building. She was born and raised in Aurora, Ill., but she loves going to school in Iowa. She is currently a junior who will be starting nursing school this fall. On campus, Jessica is involved in Dance Marathon, intramural sports, and she also used to work at the library (she can tell you the best places to study!). She also enjoys traveling to new places, spending time with her family and friends, playing ultimate frisbee whenever she can, and never missing an episode of Parks and Recreation.
