Student Success Center

The Student Success Center offers academic services through tutorial sessions, supplemental instruction and study groups to all St. Ambrose students in a low pressure setting at no cost. The Center's intent is to support undergraduate students in their learning and contribute to their growth and development as learners.

The SSC also provides tutoring in general study skills and for ELL, students whose first language is not English. Students who receive tutoring are taught by trained tutors. The university's Student Success Center tutor training program is certified by the College Reading and Learning Association, an international organization
of professionals active in the fields of reading, learning assistance, developmental education, tutoring, and mentoring at the college/adult level.
