Your health and well-being is of the highest importance to St. Ambrose University. While no study abroad experience is 100 percent risk free, using common sense and good judgment is often the best way to avoid many health and safety issues while abroad.
The Center for International Education is committed to preparing you for your international experience before you depart. Each student receives a Study Abroad Handbook, which includes detailed information about staying healthy, avoiding health and safety risks, and what to do in case of an emergency.
Your health, safety and security are our priority, but they must also be your own priority. Please take the time to review the health and safety section of the website and read your Study Abroad Handbook carefully.
