Bud Grant (Theology--Ambrose of Milan);Dr. Micah Kiel (Theology--Chiseling God:  History, Culture, and Divinity in Ancient Greece); Dr. Ethan Gannaway (Art History--The Age of Ambrose); Dr. Nancy Hayes (English Literature--Origins of the Sonnet); and Introductory Italian Language (Taught by an instructor from the Universita Cattolica del Sacro Cuore)

Price: $17,590 (subject to change)
Financial Aid: Eligible students can use their entire SAU financial aid package (excluding work study) for one semester.

Program description

Study abroad in Milan, the home of our Patron, Saint Ambrose. Students will receive on-site support from the Universita Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan. Additional course information coming soon!

How to apply

Application deadline: April 1, 2014
Step 1: Complete the online application.
Step 2: Submit a $500 deposit to the Center for International Education by April 1. 
Step 3: Print out a Liability Form from the Required Documents section of the online application.
Return your completed Liability Form to the Center for International Education by April 1.

Payment deadlines and instructions

April 1, 2014: $500 deposit due.
Submit your deposit to the Center for International Education - 300 Ambrose Hall.
Make checks payable to St. Ambrose University.
May 1, 2014:  $500 commitment fee due.
Submit your commitment fee to the Center for International Education - 300 Ambrose Hall.
August 20, 2014:  Remaining balance due.
Submit your remaining balance directly to Student Accounts - 1st floor, Ambrose Hall.

Payment details

  • Make checks payable to St. Ambrose University. 
  • Credit cards CANNOT be accepted for the deposit and commitment fee.
  • If you are not accepted, or the program is canceled, the deposit will be refunded to you.
  • All payments are deducted from the total program cost and are non-refundable after each payment deadline.
  • Failure to meet payment deadlines could jeopardize your place in the program.
