Program description
Many would say that after Shakespeare, Chaucer, and Milton, Wordsworth is the greatest poet in the English language. This course will foster an understanding of British romanticism through in-depth study of his work. Our study will focus on understanding both the poetry and the mind of the poet that was so influential for other romantic writers.

How to apply
Complete the online application and submit a $500 application deposit to the Center for International Education by December 1st, 2012.
- Make checks payable to St. Ambrose University.
- The application deposit is deducted from the total program cost.
- If you are not accepted, or if the program is cancelled, the application deposit is refundable.
- If you are accepted, this deposit is non-refundable after December 1st.
Payment deadlines
- January 18th, 2012: $800 commitment fee due
- March 20th, 2013: remaining balance due
