*$1,500/student in Education Department scholarships will be awarded to students who are accepted into this program.
The program will begin with a visit to the central Italian city of Pistoia, where its extensive network of infant toddler centers and preschools has come to international attention. We will then proceed to Reggio Emilia, widely recognized for providing a seamless model of excellence in curriculum, special education, environment, parent involvement, and staff development. Through school visits and meetings with teachers and members of the pedagogical team, participants will learn about the city's strong commitment to families, culture, and history.
