UMAIE Courses

St. Ambrose University joined the Upper Midwest Consortium of Intercultural Education (UMAIE) in 2010 to give our students more options to study abroad during the winter. UMAIE courses are taught by faculty from each of the seven member schools. Courses last between three to four weeks and typically have between 16 and 26 participants. UMAIE courses are open to students from all seven member schools.

  • Course offerings vary every year, but represent a multitude of academic disciplines in locations spanning the globe. There is truly something for everyone.
  • UMAIE enrollment begins in April for the following winter. Applications are accepted until October 1.

If you are interested in participating in a UMAIE course, please contact the Center for International Education for more information on how to apply.
