Are you ready to be a Bee? We are ready for you!
Please join us for Transfer Student Orientation on Friday, June 17 from 8 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. This will be a combined event with the incoming freshman orientation event happening the same day, so there will be lots of things to do, and people to meet! Check-in for Transfer Orientation will be on the 2nd floor of the Rogalski Center (in the lobby) from 8 to 8:30 a.m. Feel free to park in the Rogalski Center parking lot. A campus map is available here.
Orientation will be conference-style, so you can pick and choose which sessions you would like to attend (or feel you need to attend). Available sessions on the schedule include:
Career Services - information about work study, internships and graduate schools
Financial Aid - fill out last-minute paperwork and/or meet with a counselor one-on-one
Safety and Security/Health and Wellness - find out about counseling services and safety/security
Activity Fair - learn about all of the ways that you can be involved on campus
Academic Support Services Open House - learn about tutoring opportunities
Being Ambrosian - Father Bud discusses what it means to be Ambrosian, and the opportunities students have to learn outside of the classroom
Athletics and Fine Arts Open Houses - speak with a coach, or get a tour of our fine arts facilities
There will also be opportunities to get answers to your advising/academic planning questions, get your ID photo taken and to purchase your books or a new shirt in the bookstore! Breakfast and lunch will be served.
If you are unable to attend this event, there will be a couple of smaller, alternative transfer orientation events on Friday, July 22, as well as on move-in day on Sunday, August 21.
